[Network & Internet] What to Do When the Internet Is Not Working

Internet problems are often local and quick to fix. Try these steps in order.

1. Check if others near you also have no connection. If everyone is down, it's likely a wider outage — report one ticket for the whole area, not many.
2. Look at your network cable (wired) or WiFi icon (wireless). Is it connected?
3. Restart your browser, then try a different website to confirm it's not just one site.
4. For wired connections, reseat the LAN cable at both ends.
5. Restart your computer.

If you're still offline, submit a ticket under "Network & Internet" with: your office/location, whether it's wired or WiFi, whether others are affected, and when it started.
